Today I want to talk about what I have been seeing in the Markets in the last couple of Days, it looks like another huge downturn. I have been quiet long enough, I used to do a blog on Eons.com about what was happening in the Markets. But I am increaseingly concerned for America’s future. I personaly fear The average American will not get out of debt soon enough. But I still have to tell everyone I know to get out of debt, and do not under any circumbstances get into further debt of any kind. The only debt I have right now is our Land, we owe 0 on our home we hae built it ourselves one piece at a time. Its taken us 12 years to get our home to the point it is now, but its been a relief to not have a lot of bills. Which has also gotten a lot more money to spend each month.
Tomorrow Night the President will have his State of the Union Address before the Congress and The Senate, and most importantly before the American People. Its come out today that he will suggest that some of the spending to be taken off the books, at least for the next 3 years. It works out to 15 to 20 Billion Dollars per year. And it will work out to be 250 Billion over 3 years, and about 6 Trillion dollars over the next 5 years. And 6 Trillion over the next 10 years, and it will triple the National debt over the same period of time. He will also suggest a new Tax on the Banks that are in the USA, this new tax will work out to about 90 Billion dollars. Our standing on Moody’s has been downgraded due to the extreme debt we have taken on in America over the last year.
The President will also announce a spending freeze on salary’s of the White House staff and appointee’s. But it only affects those with salary’s of those making 100 thousand dollars or more. It will not affect Homeland Security or Social Security, and other programs. He will also add an new Tax on Banks of about 90 Million Dollars worth. So look for your cost of banking to go up, from everything from check cashing to ATM fees. This tax will effect all banks will total accounts over 5 Billion Dollars.
in the last few nights I have been watching CNBC European Squawk Box. They said we have had a world wide 6 Quarters of Losses, in the World wide Market system. But I have been saying since 2001 that we have had one downturn in the economy after another. That on that program they stated that the America’s and the UK will not come out of the ression for about the next 2 years. They said about 6 months ago that they thought we would go into a V shaped recovery. They are saying thats what we are in right now, and we will be in an V shaped recovery for the next 2 years at least. They have said to be on the look out for an temporary recovery around the elections, but thats not news to me. We have been hav’ing temporay recovery’s right arround election time, for several years all the way back to the year of 2000. They have even Mentioned that would be the only the democrats could maintain their seats in the Congress and the Senate.
Car company Porche admitted today that they used credit default swaps/derevitives to make the purchase of VW auto company. this sent shockwaves accross France. And now Porche will go back to the French Government for more money by the way they did not buy VW from Germany becuase they wanted too it was bullied by the French Government. Into buying the company, here is my Question when one of our car companys bought out another did they do the same? I have to wonder. and now they are sueing Porche for non disclosure of the deal. and whom is sueing Porche well thats out of the bag, now the company is Chryslar which can be a new problem for the USA.
The country of UK has a new problem too while they are pushing for new Stimblus bills. They are wanting to increase the Vat tax. And as an result they are having a big problem with people leaving the UK. You would automaticly think those that moving out of the UK. Would be those that were wealthy. Wrong! its actionaly the jobless and even the homeless. They did not say where these people are moing too though.
In other Economic News Apple started selling their IPhone in China in the last quarter of 2009, They only sold 8.50 percent of the 9 percent they projected. and Europe instantuited New Rules into their Stock Market Exchange. Now Companys must make an 15 percent increase is their shares or they will be dropped off the big boards. An little politics came into the show last night New Polls came out in Europe. The President of Greece has 70 percent and Prime Minister Gordan Brown. Has 60 percent and President Obama has between 40 to 50 percent favorable rating. It also came out the Trip to Copenhagan in December of 2009 that the USA paid for 106 people to stay at an hotel. And also about 60 people from the white house, and 7 Democrat Senators and Congressmen. Aslo present were 6 Republican Senators and Congressmen. Next week we tax payers are going to pay more money when the President will go to Davos Denmark for the G-20 meeting. and oh I almost forgot to mention we sent 3 military planes with Mr Obama.
Well thats all I have right now, I missed writing blogs all last week have severe computer problems. had to have Dell come out and replace my hard drive and my dvd drive. it was ready to go for Saturdays radio show then I had more problems and hubby spent until 4 AM fixing it but I am back up and running again. Last Thursday an Large Earthquake hits the country of Haiti, and leaves behind massive devastation. every building eigther destroyed to the point that its unsafe by United States standard of what is safe to live in. But by third worlds standard its in some cases still liveable. They may not have roofs in some cases or they may have parts of there home left, so they live there anyway even through their fear but those are the Lucky ones. For they still have some kind of shelter but most have only the streets to live in.
There are many workers there trying to help, But I have to wonder about whom is helping. Becuase its come to my attention from reading and watching the Television news reports. That the main places getting any real assistance are the Montana Hotel. Where media and the UN workers live. Which was destroyed, and the airport the UN took over right afterwards. and they are getting lots of help The United Nations. Even went into the only decent Hospital, that was still standing and kicked every one else out. Then they took over the only Ambulance running. So thats their exuse well they needed to use these things for themselves and their injured. The World food program is also has damage at their Building,only one of there was was stable they thought the other ones are very weak. they loaded and unloaded Food at the outside of the building.
Speaking of supplies Secretary of State Hilary Clinton came to Haiti. Today I feel for more of a photo op then anything, Becuase I what I heard a CNN reporter say,that she last night left DC for Haiti, and While at the Reagan Airport she and her staff after going through the security, went and purchased toiletrys for the people in haiti. Only to find out their generosity was not for the Haiti people. But instead were for the UN Workers in Haiti.
So what I see happening is the same thing that happened after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Where the police got priority over the poor in the 9th ward. The News Reporters had to tell the police and Mr Nagin the Mayor of New Orleans, that they found people that needed help for weeks. The storys coming out of there were heart wrenching. In its already shaping up to be like that from story’s coming out Haiti.
The 7.o Earthquake happened last Tuesday about 4:45 pm and since that time not much in the way of assistance has arrived for the local people. But plenty of supplies have arrived for UN workers, they have recieved everything from food to water to even tolietrys has found its way to UN workers.
Its so hard to watch what is happening in Haiti right now it brings back so many memories, of what happened to our own people in the Katrina Hurricane at least for me. and the only place the media on the Television and News Papers is concertrating on right now is in the Capital city of Port Au Prince. There was an young lady on Don Lemon’s show on CNN tonight, begging to have someone go to other areas of haiti that have no help at all. she said please go check out these towns they have nothing. She had just come back from Haiti she had been visisting her Mother and brothers and cousins at the time of the Earthquake. Some of her Family are still missing and she asked for help from CNN to help find them.
There is an orphange in Haiti that has no food or water or baby formula. The UN and our people over there know where this orphange is. But at this point no help has arrived they are babies the youngest is just 3 days old. these babys are sleeping outside , this is not the only orphange in need in Haiti nore the only children sleeping outside. All of these children are in desprite need of help many of these baby’s were in the proccess of being adopted by American familys. but these babies lives and future are up in the air, becuase the records offices are destroyed so their paperwork is not available and or lost. It takes about an year and a half to adopt a child from Haiti. The children of one Orphange that is run by 2 sisters from Pennsyannia in the United States has recieved word that the children they care for will be coming to the united states Their home had been partialy destroyed. Although they dont know how long it will be before they can get out of Haiti. The orphanage that I mentioned that has no milk or food for the baby’s several hours later still has not seen any help of any kind. there are 26 babys at that orphange. there have been looters that at least 2 times coming through trying to get what little these baby’s have, its truely a very sad and despret situation.
At this point about 50 thousand people have died, and the death toll is feared to rise to about 100 thousand in the coming weeks. There are Red Cross teams from all over the world in place helping with as much as they can. We have teams from Los Angeles CA, Arizona The Country of Haiti has about 7 Million people, Port Au Prince the Capital city has about 3 Million People. The average income of the people of Haiti is about 750 Dollars a year about 2 Dollars a day. There are about 10 thousand NGO’s Non Governmental Organiations the largest in the world other than India. Some are UN run and many are privately run. at the time of the Earthquake there were about 45 thousand Americans living and working in Haiti.
The President and Prime Minister of Haiti earlier this week had a major request for the American government. They requested Body Bags they had very few and the bodys were lining up in the streets. some people have taken their loved ones to the next town some 35 miles away to find a place to bury them, there is no place to bury them in the city of Port Au Prince. Some 115 hours after the Earthquake they are still getting out people out from under the rubble. They seem to be concentrating on three major places. The UN buildings, the Hotel Montana and the World Bank Building. Those three areas are the only ones that have the use of Jack Hammers and portable Generators. Everyone else in the counrty has to pull out people out from under the rubble with their bare hands.
The African Country of Senegal has made an offer to the people of Haiti of free land to any and all of the people of Haiti, depending on how many wish to take up on the offer. then they later said that depends on how many people that wish to move there.

Hi Everyone,
Ava Indiana and I every Friday night do an Show on Survival on Blog Talk Radio. Our show is all about helping people to survive hard times and prepareing for unknown or unforeseen situations, that we all could be or have been in from time to time.
If you live in Tornado or Hurricane prone or Even Earthquake prone area’s of this country, you may need a room of your house that you and your family can live in that is safe. where you and your children could be safe from windows breaking and falling debri’s. Please keep keep your pets in mind they need to be and feel safe as well. Dont forget your children will panic less if they are helping you to prepare too. It is crucial that you all know as a family where to meet in an emergency in case of separation. All of this information will help also in case of an fire, We Learned just how unprepared we were an couple of years ago. When we had an Fire near where we live, so after the fire was out which took a lot longer then we figured it would. We decided we would never feel that helpless again. In our area we are all close knit group of people we know our Nieghbors and are always helping each other, if you live in an a Rural area then you know what I am speaking about. It really helps if you know your neighbors so even if you live in an city. You can survive any disaster that happens eigther natural or manmade.
One thing we learned when we had the fire up here in the Mountains, is that we did not have a suitcase ready to go. The major problem with that is that when you are in an hurry to pack, then you pack things that you may not need so. I would suggest that you pack a suit case for each person in your household. Including each of your pets for the pets, the suitcase can just be a small back pack. You will want to include their food dish and water dish a leash a pillow for their pet carrier and. an container of Dry petfood. Do not forget their vetanary records and a favorite snacks and one of their favorite toy.
Now for each of your children each child needs to have a suit case you can have your children help here. They can choose which toy they want to place in the suitcase. Since it is winter time right now I would of course pack warm clothing a pair of boots, warm coat, Hats, and mittens, these things should always stay in the car including a warm blanket. Or if you have severval children, you may want a blanket for each one. This also comes in handy when it comes to warming up the car in the morning. and you are running late, it takes a while to warm up so let each child use a blanket to keep warm in the meantime. you also may want to carry extra travel safe games and a video or 2
Some other items to keep in your car for emergencys are flashlights, Kitty litter yes I said kitty litter. Becuase if you get stuck in mudd you can pour a little around your tires and then you get out of the mudd. You can also keep old fashioned metal coffee cans an tea lights in the car that you light with a kitchen match. These tea lights inside a coffee can will emitt some heat just be sure you blow them out before trying to sleep. They can pose the same hazard that normal candles that you may use at home. such as causing a fire,
In suitcases that I pack for the car I switch out clothes every 3 months, for both mine and my husbands. I pack about a weeks supply and I also keep an container filled with enough laundry detergent and fabric sheets. to do several loads of laundry in my emergency container. I have toilet paper 2 pkgs of 4 rolls and I keep 6 Bath towels and 4 wash cloths. I also have some canned food in an container. I keep next to the front door, and I keep those big 5 Quart ice cream containers that. I fill with fresh water and, I keep six 6Gallon containers filled with water. The smaller ones are filled with water to drink, and the bigger ones are filled with water that we use to fill the toilet. During times of power outages, and we have power outages sometimes they are for 20 minutes other times they are much longer. I have actually done radio shows without power. They were so much fun, but I have a cellphone with an data plan. And a laptop I keep charged up and an wired telephone. and when I am away from my house. I can use my husbands cell phone to call into blogtalk radio network. My next plan is to get one of those cell phones that you pay as you go to call in to the station when on travel. These are just some of the things that we do some of these things save us money others just make life easier. Oh yes before I forget another thing we use the large 6 gallon containers of water for is filling our evaperatorive cooler in the summer. We also have a couple of large Batterie’s that supply the power for the cooler we are talking about the room size cooler and it runs our TV and Direct TV box.

It seems that every day we are learning more about the terrorism suspect that tried to bring down Flight 253 over Detroit Michigan. Athough today we do not have new information on this Guy . This Mornings Fox News Sunday it came out that the Detroit attempted bomber did do some talking for about 30 hours to the officials. We apparrently got quite a bit of information from him before he Lawyered up. One more thing thats come out today is that we sent 6 people back to Yeman. Just 6 Days before the Atempted Attack on flight 253 in Detroit Michigan. With serious plans to send more to Yeman in the next few Months.
We have some information about Airport security, there were several problems at various Airports around the country. But I feel some of those are to where down the American people to want the Body scanners. thats my personal opinion, The media is all up in arms becuase the American people dont think we need the Body scanners. Becuase of the fact the people feel the scanners are too invasive. Right now the television media is going crazy with it, when actualy they would have never stopped any of these terrorist’s getting on planes. What it will do though is discourage people like me, that do not fly now from ever flying in the future. And of course the favorite comment that I have heard to the point that makes me sick to my stomach is well if you dont hve anything to hide, why not go through this so called extra measure of security. when they use that comment its got nothing to do with you doing something wrong, its more about making you feel guilty. Then you start to question your self, I say dont ever let someone Guilt you like that into anything. Once you start letting people do that to you lose something of your self. Its called self respect, and your resolve to stand up for what you believe in. News
just in the Power is out in Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and they have canceled several flights. According to Airport Spokeswoman Ms Jackie Mayo said, the power went out at 6:50 this Morning January 10,2010 and. They think they can restore the power by about 6pm this evening. The electric crews are looking for the problem and trying to repair it she said. She went on to say the cause of the outage is unknown at this time. And crews from Akron based First Engergy Corp were working to get it fixed. She also stated that critical areas such as the Airfields and the Aiport Tower. Have power and that back up generator are providing limited power to light in the terminal. A side note: On January 4,2010 there were power issues at the Reagan National Airport in DC. That grounded flights for about 1 hour. Just in as I write this blog the Airport I just spoke about, all flights for the rest of the day will be canceled due to the power outage.
Airport Security Mearsures are drawing Accusations of Profiling. The Obama Administrations decision to rev up Airport security for passengers traveling to 14 Nations, with ties to terrorism. has now triggered a backlash of complaints, from several Muslim and privacy groups. Whom say the Presidents response to terror threats amounts to little more then racial profiling. Since this blog is meant for the reader to get information. And an opinion piece you will hear what I think. I first commend the President this week for coming out and saying the buck stops with him, I was also glad to hear him say that We are at war with Al Quaida. But I disagree with how he is waging this war. We are fighting on many fronts and 2 major wars and. We Ava Indiana and I spend Every Sunday having to Honor More of our Our young Men and Women. That have died in those two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. And as of last week we started adding Men and Women from Canada and the UK. May I be so bold as to ask You Mr President its come to our attention that our young people. Are not recieving the nessasary Tools and equipment they need. Nore the personell they need to really fight these wars. Either give them what they need to really fight and win these wars. Or we request No We Demand that you bring our young people home. We Ava and I love those young people. And are Sooo tired of having to Mention and Honor those Whom died. On our weekly radio show, it breaks our hearts and our listeners Hearts each time. There I have said it.
Although The President says he will ramp up security in passengers coming to America, from other countries. But the reality is that the president cannot do much about the security of other countries. Today we continue to learn more about the Near attempted terrorist attack on, America on Christmas day on Flight 253 near Detroit Michigan. On Fox News today Mr Haskell a man I recently wrote about in a previous blog, whom was an wittness to Mr Muttahalaub the would be bomber in Amsterdam Netherlands. At the airport ticket counter he told fox News. That the well dressed man helping Mr Muttahalub was of what he thought of indian decent, and aproximently around 50 years old. and he told Fox News that He clearly heard the Man tell the Ticket agent. That his friend did not have a passport or ID, and that the man was from the Suddan and it was ok becuase they do it all the time. Meaning letting people on planes without Passports or ID on the planes all the time.
Then shortly after that Al Alwalaki was in the 9/11 report as to having contact with at least 2 of the 9/11 Highjackers. In San Deigo CA. This Man surely gets around He has been in San Deigo, New York City and Yemen, Briton and Now in Kenya, he also had contact with Major Hasan the Fort Hood Shooter/Terrorist. Also had contact with Mr Al Alawalaki another thing that most people are unaware of. Is he has both an USA and Yemen citizenship. He was kicked out of the UK last year for preaching hatred of Hindu’s Jewish people and Americans. He stated in sermons we need to kill them all. He was recently arrested outside an Mosque in Kenya, They are trying to send him to Jamaica where that country has given him visa to come and live there. They have also promised to keep a close eye on him and his movements.
Today President Obama said he will order US agency’s to move faster to release reports of they have on terrorism reports and the information on the botched attempt on Flight 253 plot, He also Took responsability for the failures in the adminstration’s handleing of the Botched reporting to the public about the plot. and he also has said they will increase the numbers of people on the No Fly list.
This would mean that people with potential ties to Terrorist organizations or violent exstremist’s like the Christmas day bombing suspect. Would included in watch lists more rapidly. It was expected that this effort would require additional resources . In a interview published Today by USA Today National Security adviser General James Jones said, people who read the report will feel a certain shock. Jones went on to say that The man on the street will be surprised that these correlations weren’t made. Between clues pointing toward a threat from Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab even though the 23 year old man from Nigeria. Was in the database of possible terrorists. He managed to fly from Nigeria through Amsterdam to Detroit with an expolsive concealed on his body.
Meanwhile the Los Angeles Times reported that US border security officials learned about Abdulmutallab’s alleged extremist’s links as he airborne, and had decided to question him when the plane landed. although an administration officials told NBC News that no new information emerged while the plane was in the air.
An article out of Portland stated today an oregon man caused such a rukitus on a plane that was headed to Hawaii that on Wenesday January 6,2010. That it prompted the pilot to turn the plane around and go back to Portland. This was so bad that it prompted the AirForce to escort the plane with F-15 Fighter Jets. The Oregon man was questioned and released. He is an 56 year old man from Salem and. The matter was later turned over to Federal prosecutors.
The man was not charged with anything and later released, they say the man has no terrorist links. The Hawaiian Airlines Jet was on its way to Maui’s kahului airport when the Man started making threats and refusing to stow away his carryon bag according to Suzanne Trevino, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Transportation Administration.
And on the same subject of threats on a plane on its way to Detroit Michigan, a man began yelling I want to kill all the Jews. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and other charges. He is Mansor Mohammond asad He is 43 years old The man lives in Toledo Ohio. after taxiing Northwest Airlines flight returned to the gate at Miami International Airport.
According to reports which are confusing at this point, one article qoutes two different ages for Mr Asad, All in the same article, at one point it states his age as 43 years old and. Later in same article it states his age as 56 years old. The FBI said there was no terrorism known involed in this case. my feeling is that people have gone to Jail for just saying something or even just looking the wrong way at TSA agents so this really makes me wonder why they are letting this guy off the hook so easy. he was released, Asad’s son 27 year old Mickey Asad told the Associated press that hid father suffered from Bi Polar Disorder and was in and out of mental institutions when he was younger. I question this becuase I have 2 friends very dear to me that have Bi Polar, Even at their deepest part of their conditions. They have never made a threat to anyone. what has happened though is they get extremly depressed and on ocassion threatened or even tried to committ suicide. but they have never threatened to kill anyone else. which makes me wonder about this Guy. Although it could be different with Guys.
Today the young man stood before court today and plead Not Guilty to the 6 charges he faces. In the attempted Christmas day bombing of flight 253 over Detroit Michigan. the hearing took less then 5 minutes he said yes in english when he was asked if he understood the charges aganst him. A grand jury earlier this week indicted him on 6 charges the most severe charge carries up to life in prison the charge being. The attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.
The EU Nations are deeply divided over the use of The body scanners. over the need of the body scanners at european airports. Some EU members are questioning the need for the body scanning machines at their airports. They are asking the same questions as the American people are asking our Government about privacy, data protection,and health issues arising from their use. I will do a more indepth article soon on these machines.

Today we are learning a lot more about the security problems we have both here in America and around the world, in the aftermath of the attemped bombing of Flight 253 Northwest Airliner over Detroit Michigan. The President today said that we had enough information on the the attempted bomber of flight 253 but he said there was no excuse why he was available to get on a a jetliner to the USA from Nigeria. Is unknown at this time except they at the airports in which he went through and no one stopped him from getting on the plane to the USA. It just seems to me that it would have been easy to do the security if the people that were doing their Jobs by that here is what I mean 1. if a Man or Woman comes to the ticket counter wants to pay cash for a one way ticket first Red Flag, 2. Second if said Person only has just one small carry on bag and no other luggage for a long trip. 3. Was checked and inside they found 5 Soda Bottles, filled with a substance they later said it had bomb residue on them. Only to find out that they were filled with Honey The Luggage tested for TNT during a routine swabbing of the bags exterior Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood said TSA officials were the ones that opened the luggage .
The Bag’s owner Francisco Ramirez 31 a gardener from Milwaukee who had been cooperating with authorities. Mr Ramirez flew to Bakersfield on Dec 23 to spend the christmas Holidays, with his sister and was was returning Tuesday when the alarm sounded. When TSA officials opened the bottles they became nauseated by the fumes. Both TSA officials were sent to the Hospital and treated and released. All Flights in and out of Meadow Feilds Bakersfield Airport were canceled for much of the day. Today it came out that this cleric has links to the Christmas day attempted bomber, It looks like there is a link to the Christmas day Bomber apparrently he wrote in his web postings that he had lisened to this Cleric. the postings were back in 2005 under the name farouk 1986 The suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab ,another person that this cleric is connected to is Richard Reid the shoe bomber.

I am asking if the RDX is in this guys luggage but the Luggage is not checked in Dublin ,what is this guy supposed to think when he finds this stuff in his luggage. He never found out about this until Irish Police showed up at his innercity Appartment Tuesday Morning. To top things off the police were not told that that the Airport Security put the stuff in the mans Luggage, so when they showed up at his Appartment they thought he was a terrorist. Then the Man had to convince the police that the expolsive was placed in his Luggage without his Knowledge and consent.
